In the context of the [https://projects.tib.eu/confident ConfIDent] and [https://projects.tib.eu/condidi/ ConDIDi] projects a DID is being used as an attribute of either an [[used for::Concept:Event|event]] or an [[used for::Concept:Event_series|event series]]. 
[https://projects.tib.eu/condidi/ ConDIDi] provides a DID for an event or event series, with which the participation of a person or organization in that event or event series can be verified (signed on the blockchain).
