Bastian Drees studied physics at University of Münster (2004-2010) and received a PhD from university of Heidelberg in 2014. Bastian completed a traineeship (“Referendariat”) as scientific librarian at TIB and the Bavarian State Library (2014-16). Since 2016, he works in the Competence Centre for non-textual Materials in the Research and Development Department of TIB.
