Call for Presentations


              European BPM Workshop
          in conjunction with BIS 2013

               Poznań, Poland
              June 19-21, 2013


It is our pleasure to invite you to submit your work to the European BPM Workshop that will be held in conjunction with 16th International Conference on Business Information Systems (BIS 2013). The BIS conference is a well-respected event joining international researchers to discuss the wide range of the development, implementation, application and improvement of business applications and systems. A workshop will be an excellent opportunity for researchers to present their work as well as for business representatives to learn the state of the art solutions in the BPM area. This will be also an opportunity to discuss the implementations and learn from success stories.

TOPICS

Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

   * Business Process Management technologies, methods and tools
   * Business Rules
   * Semantic Business Process Management
   * Adaptive and dynamic processes
   * Supply chain processes
   * ERP implementations
   * Integration of data and processes
   * Collaborative BPM
   * Examples of successul application of BPM in companies


SUBMISSION Electronic submission system will be available soon.

The workshop invites presentations as well as research papers.

  • submission should contain 2-page long abstract of the presentation (language of presentation: English; presentation during the workshop should be 15-20 minutes long);
  • please include 4-7 keywords best describing your presentation;
  • authors of the best presentations will be invited to prepare a paper that will be published in conference proceedings (publication in a book by Springer-Verlag in Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing (LNBIP) series);

Please note, that presentation may be based on original work or work that has been published before. However, the paper submitted to the conference proceedings has to be the original work that has not yet been published or submitted elsewhere, and that the authors will agree to publish the work when it is accepted by the Program Committee (post-presentation papers have to be reviewed and accepted by Program Committee in order to be published).

  • May 10, 2013 notification of acceptance/rejection
  • Jun 19-21, 2013 the conference
