Conference Theme: THE NETWORKED SOCIETY
Modern society is a networked society permeated by information technology (IT), which defines ECIS 2015's Conference Theme. Networks - perceived as a group of organisations and people who exchange information, contacts, and experience for professional or social purposes - leave their mark on almost every area of our society and promise various advantages to those involved. From a technical perspective, enormous amounts of information can be communicated to a larger number of recipients faster than ever before. The extensive use of Information Systems has enabled the co-evolution of advanced quantitative and qualitative forms of networking. ECIS 2015 should be a meeting place for European and non-European IS researchers from various cultures and countries, and should reflect specific and innovative IS research dealing with the overarching networked society. We are happy to welcome you to Muenster, a cradle of German IS research and education!

Papers for ECIS 2015 cover all aspects of information systems, broadly defined, and may take the form of completed research papers and research-in-progress. Research papers should document established results and be presented according to the highest academic standards. Research-in-progress may address work still under development, but usual standards of academic rigour apply. Research papers, research-in-progress, and teaching cases will be published in the ECIS conference proceedings and made available in the AIS Electronic Library. Research papers and teaching cases will be presented in interactive conference track sessions. Research-in-progress papers and prototype papers will be presented in a poster session.
