Mission
The mission of BPSC (Business Process and Services Computing) conferences is to be a prime international forum to discuss and publish research findings and IT industry experiences with relation to process-centric service-oriented paradigm as it applies to the development and integration of enterprise and e-business information systems. By looking at the business process as a first-class citizen in the IT world and by using the potential of services computing for creation of adaptive process-centric business solutions, BPSC conferences identify most hopeful trends and propose new directions for consideration by researchers and practitioners involved in large-scale software development and integration.
Background
The conference is part of SABRE 2009 www.sabre-conference.com SABRE 2009 and BPSC 2009 are intended as big events to contribute to the University of Leipzig 600th anniversary celebrations. Registration to BPSC constitutes part of the overall registration to SABRE and allows access to all SABRE events, including keynotes and invited talks.
Publication
The BPSC proceedings will be published as a book with an ISBN number in Lecture Notes in Informatics (LNI) http://www.gi-ev.de/service/publikationen/lni/
