Doctoral Symposium

In addition to its plenary scientific sessions, the conference will include a one-day doctoral symposium, creating an opportunity for doctoral students to present their thesis work proposals and progress, and receive constructive comments and guidance from peer mentors in the fields.

Submission Instructions

Authors are invited to submit papers up to 8 pages, in English, describing the results of their research, or of their innovative, practical applications relevant to the conference topics. All papers must be original contributions and not previously published nor currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. All papers will be submitted on-line, in PDF format using IEEE standard template available on the conference website. For each paper the scientific program committee will evaluate its originality, relevance, and clarity. Accepted papers will be published in the main conference proceedings registered with IEEE Xplore and referenced in international libraries.

Students interested in RIVF'09 Doctoral Symposium are invited to submit papers up to 4 pages, on-line, and in the same PDF format and IEEE standard template as regular papers. All papers submitted to the doctoral symposium will also be reviewed and selected ones will be published in the conference addendum contributions.
