DS2 2008, the 3rd International Workshop on Data Storage Devices and Systems, will be held at the University of Perugia, Perugia (Italy), 30 June-3 July 2008. This annual workshop provides a forum in which to present research results in all areas related to the design, development, and evaluation of storage devices and systems. DS2 2008 builds on the success of previous workshops in this series held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (August 2007), and in Glasgow, Scotland (May 2006).

Scope:

Original research contributions are solicited covering a variety of topics including but not limited to:

- pervasive storage

- autonomic storage

- non-volatile memory storage (flash memory, NVRAM, PRAM, etc)

- MEMS-based storage

- portable storage

- security and privacy

- data management

Important Dates:

Papers submission: Jan 27, 2008

Notification of acceptance: March 31, 2008
