The 1st Asian Conference on Machine Learning (ACML'09) will be held in
November 2-4,
2009, Nanjing, China. The conference aims at providing a leading
international forum
for researchers in Machine Learning and related fields to share their
new ideas and
achievements. Submissions from other than the Asia-Pacific regions are
also highly
encouraged.

Submission:
----------------

The papers must be in English and MUST be formatted according to the
Springer-Verlag
LNCS/LNAI guidelines (available at http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html).
The maximum length of papers including its coverpage is at most 15
pages in this
format. Overlength submissions or submissions without appropriate
format will be
rejected without review. All papers must be submitted electronically
in PDF format
only, using the conference management tool. Detailed instructions will
be available
at the conference website http://lamda.nju.edu.cn/conf/ACML09/submission.htm.
The submitted papers must not be published or under consideration to
be published elsewhere. Submissions will be rigorously reviewed by the
Program Committee. Accepted
submissions will be published in a volume of LNCS/LNAI.
