We invite papers and position pieces from all academic disciplines, such as international relations, public administration, anthropology, law, political science, history, sociology, business management, peace studies, economics, geography, and communications.  Each paper will be presented in one of three panels, concerned broadly with 1) Hostile regional actions and the conflicts’ results for global militaries, 2) Contemporary insecurity crises and their foreshadowing for world diplomatic actions, 3) Societal, economic, and/or technological impacts of security concerns and the conclusions drawn from such critical paradigms, and 4) The ongoing search for security.  SATSA and the Moynihan Institute of Global Affairs at the Maxwell School will publish selected articles using a peer blind review process and will invite additional papers for presentation at the conference.
