In the series on Quality-Oriented Software Engineering (QOSE), the TRESE group at the University of Twente presents:

Software Dependability Symposium

Context

Increasing size and complexity of software systems makes it harder to ensure their dependability. At the same time, the issues of dependability become more critical as we more and more rely on software systems in our daily life. These trends make it necessary to support software engineers with a set of techniques and tools for developing dependable software.

Goal

In this symposium, experts will provide insight in how they confront the challenges in developing dependable software systems. After presentations, there will be a panel that will focus on addressing the questions from the attendees of the symposium.

Audience

This symposium is intended for software professionals and decision makers who want to learn about state-of-the-art techniques for developing dependable software.
